Our mission is to provide mental health support throughout the perinatal journey and to normalize experiences including perinatal depression & anxiety, physical and hormonal changes, challenges with breastfeeding, mom guilt, partner guilt, and re-entry into the workforce or the decision to withdraw from it.
Your tax-deductible donations go directly to funding awardees the subsidized mental health care and funding the Educational Forums
No, Barangay is in the pursuit of Grant Funding and the establishment of Endowment Funding.
Barangay operates in 2 main ways:
1. Providing selected applicants a years worth of subsidized mental health care
2. Hosting educational forums at designated intervals
Applications for subsidized mental health care will be available August 1, 2024 and will remain open until the maximum of awards are issued.
Awards will be issued Quarterly (October, January, April, July)
Submitted applications will be reviewed and voted on by the Board of Voting Directors based on a rubric scoring guide using predetermined criteria.
An Educational Forum is a community gathering event for individuals on their perinatal journey to convene and discuss their experiences with others walking in parallel. These Forums will be opened with Keynote Speakers pertinent to that forum's agenda and then breakout sessions will be held for specific units such as: working mothers, stay at home mothers, military spouses / parents, infertility, infant / pregnancy loss, etc.
